This revered feline goddess of ancient Egypt was celebrated as a fierce protector of women, children, and households. Renowned for her courage and compassion, she ventured into the darkness of Da'at and traversed a wormhole to Niflheim to confront the nightmares and demons threatening those under her care.
Other Egyptian gods arrived as well, but many had already succumbed to the corrupting influence of Niflheim. Twisted by its shadowy taint, they were blinded to the truth and became puppets of the shadow realm.
Undeterred, Bastet vows not only to shield her people from the shadows of Niflheim but also to restore her fellow gods, determined to break the dark hold over their minds and spirits.
