Repulsed by the monumental filth caking every gutter, alley, and backroom in Niflheim, Bubbles and Scrub took it upon themselves to do what no sane soul ever would: clean it.

A voluptuous little slime maiden with more enthusiasm than sense, Bubbles drifts through the grime-choked streets of Onyx City with her perpetually irritated sentient bubble-dress, Scrub, polishing, disinfecting, and violently sterilizing every stain unfortunate enough to cross their path. Together, they waged a one-woman war on filth—and, against all reason, they were winning.

Then the stupidity happened.

Thanks to the famously incompetent and suspiciously bird-brained dealings of the Trumpy Bird administration, imported bubble solution prices skyrocketed, bleach tariffs surged, and industrial-grade detergent became a luxury reserved for nobles, alchemists, and deeply unstable janitors. Faced with financial ruin and a city still absolutely caked in filth, Bubbles did what any broken heroine would do:

She retreated to a dim alley, started stress-eating detergent pods, and began chasing them with discount bleach in the hope of finally scrubbing herself from existence.

And then, somewhere between her fourth chemical hallucination and a near-fatal mouthful of lemon-scented concentrate… clarity struck.

Why clean the streets?

The streets were hopeless.

But the women of Niflheim? Salvageable. Possibly.

Why waste precious solution on cobblestones and alley sludge when she could instead scrub the harlots of Niflheim clean of their indecency, bad habits, and suspicious odors? It was cheaper, more efficient, and far more rewarding. A polished lady required far less disinfectant than an entire district, and the results were immediate: cleaner bodies, cleaner minds, and dramatically reduced Puppet Virus contamination. That last one, however, is hotly debated as a problem when they all adore the delightful jig of dancing crabs between their legs.
