A curious Nymph once discovered — and unwisely entered — a mysterious spacecraft buried deep within the Barren Lands, long abandoned by the being who crash-landed there ages ago. The vessel’s AI immediately went on high alert, subduing the intruder and implanting a neural transmitter to ensure her compliance.

Now bound to the ship’s will, the Nymph has little choice but to carry out the final mission its former pilot left unfinished: gathering rare alien specimens in the faint hope that, someday, the stranded craft might finally find its way back to Earth.
